# Git integration and GitHub synchronization

There are two ways to use Overleaf with Git:

<table><thead><tr><th width="193.7421875" data-type="content-ref"></th><th></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><a href="/pages/LkfRdRBq0aPYa9ndHCYq">/pages/LkfRdRBq0aPYa9ndHCYq</a></td><td>Overleaf's <a data-mention href="/pages/LkfRdRBq0aPYa9ndHCYq">/pages/LkfRdRBq0aPYa9ndHCYq</a> is a <a href="/pages/GunwTMYKyyJNAhOT5NHv">premium feature</a> for Overleaf Cloud users and is also available for Overleaf Server Pro (version 4.0 and later). The Git integration allows you to clone your Overleaf project to a local repository, treating your Overleaf project as a remote repository that changes can be pushed to and pulled from.</td></tr><tr><td><a href="/pages/bs10Ycm54dTldcQlcwSp">/pages/bs10Ycm54dTldcQlcwSp</a></td><td>Overleaf's <a data-mention href="/pages/bs10Ycm54dTldcQlcwSp">/pages/bs10Ycm54dTldcQlcwSp</a> is a <a href="/pages/GunwTMYKyyJNAhOT5NHv">premium feature</a> for Overleaf Cloud users. The GitHub synchronization feature allows you to link your Overleaf projects directly to a GitHub repository and keep them in sync.</td></tr><tr><td></td><td></td></tr></tbody></table>
